Rather it is a speculative adventure set in a future that never happened -- a tribute to the classic sci-fi TV show Space: 1999. Or is it just another of Alice's wild fantasies? Alice sat on Dad's lap when she was a child and watched old episodes of Space: 1999 with him and inherited his love of TV adventures from his youth. It drove him into the Navy SEALS. It was the power of inspirational fiction that made them both heroes.
