  • Episode 26: Panama City, Panama

    That's it! 4,500 miles, 50 days, and a little over $1,500 later Peter arrives to the capital of Panama and his final destination. It's a bittersweet moment for him as he finalizes his trip, reflects on the good times, and tours the Panama Canal after getting a pretty serious Panamanian mustache.

    Before they pull into Panama City, they visit the amazing archipelago of Bocas Del Toro. This place is livable. There's just about everything for everyone. Peter opts for the budget route as always and checks into a hostel prior to visiting Isla Bastimientos. See for yourself!

    After being told that the capital is horrible, Peter decides to check it out for himself. To his surprise, it's kinda cool. It rained most of the time, but that doesn't stop people from hiding into the many bars that the locals frequent.

    Chances are, if you've visited Costa Rica you've been to the west coast. For a couple nights, Peter recharges in the tourist zone of Playa Tamarindo. After overspending and losing his balance, it's time to bus it Playa Samara, a toned down quaint version of Tamarindo.

    Before leaving Nicaragua, Peter visits the historical town of Granada. To his surprise, it's not all historic buildings and statues. There's a breath of fresh air when a group of school kids put on a show

    It's time for some baseball Central America style. Pulling into this colonial gem, Peter takes in the city, eats some great food and spends the day watching a double header of baseball. See the difference and similarities at a baseball game where Leon hosts their colonial rivals of Granada.

    Instead of venturing to the beaches in the north, Peter embarks on a city tour of this country. Visiting both San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa in search of tank tops and chicken wings.

  • Episode 18: Travel Day

    In this episode, Peter has to make his way into Honduras. A couple hours down the Rio Dulce, the crew spends the night in the town of Livingston to prepare for their border crossing the next morning. All day and multiple forms of transportation are required to trek from Guatemala to Honduras.

    Translated, this city means "Sweet River." Located on the Rio Dulce is paradise. Nothing like you've ever seen before, Peter stays at an amazing hostel on the water. Spend your time relaxing, canoeing the river, or catching a water taxi tour.

    Step back into time at the ancient ruins of the Mayan civilization of Tikal. Peter spends the night in El Remate, then makes his way to the famous temples where he discovers himself in a past life.

    Away from the islands is an adventure seekers dream, the jungles of Belize. San Ignacio is the hub for travelers looking for caves, hikes, and nature. Peter spends time in the main city, and creates his own tour for roughly $2. On a budget, he has to find different ways of entertainment instead of shelling over a heap of cash. Meet Ras David, a local manufacturing banana wine in the room down the hall at the local motel.

    Caye Caulker is the budget travelers dream when traveling in Belize. Normally pretty expensive, you can cut on all sorts of costs by staying here. The lodging is basic, but what else do you need when taking in the reggae spirit on this small island. Sit back relax, and enjoy the good vibes in the special episode formatted to a music video.

    Nothing beats chilling on the beach, taking in the surf, drinking a couple beers while mingling with locals and tourists alike. Peter meets all kinds of people while relaxing on a beautiful day on the southern coast of Mexico.

    Although their time is short in Oaxaca, you briefly meet the people behind the camera. After a quick recharge in the colonial city, it's time to take advantage of the beaches 6 hours away.

    The center of it all. Mexico City is not only the capital of Mexico, but it's full of culture and people; making it one of the most populated cities in the world. Sample the street food stands dotted all over this metropolis.

    Cobble stone streets, narrow alley ways, beautiful hilltop views, the city of Guanajuato is a Unesco World Heritage. Hours and hours can be spent walking these streets, people watching from cafes, or even doing some runway.

    The home of Tequila and Mariachi. Peter stumbles into the town of Guadalajara, the capital of the Jalisco state.

    Join Peter follow the road most traveled. From the historic district, he'll take part in some super touristy activities in the "Zona Dorada," the tourist zone.

    Welcome to the Pacific Coast of Mexico. Unbeknownst to the guys, Carnival happens to begin on the day of their arrival. The celebration marks the beginning of lent, a roman catholic holiday.

    10 hours by bus from Tijuana is the "Pearl of the Pacific," a dusty little town called Caborca. If you're looking for a place to lose your valuables, I would not recommend losing them here. Second day in the trip, Peter already has to face the realities of travel.

    The border town known for it's famous nightlife, is now a shadow of it's old self. The lack of party can be contributed to the increasing rate of crime and fear from tourists to visit. Peter experiences this first hand.
