With no other options, Davis, Shots, Beth, and Tenison have all journeyed to what may very well be the origin of all their viral problems. This may very well end this chapter, one way or another.

Zombies. Remnants of the military. Viral infection. No food or clean water. As if this wasn't enough, now the survivors are turning on each other. When hope is all you hold on to, the past becomes the ghost that won't let you rest. The inner demons are just as hard to vanquish as the infected that now walk the earth. When the group set out together, they were seven people looking for hope. By the end of the last episode, zombies were encroaching on their hideout, bombers were closing in on their location, and one of them had turned on them to thin out the herd. "Dearly Departed" picks up with the survivors en route to St. Teresa's, the only place they know that may be safe from the viral scourge that is transforming everyone susceptible.

A viral infection has struck. The first version left many sick and dying. The mutation that followed killed millions. The final mutation brought about untold horrors: zombies. Those that survived the airborne version now try to survive the fluid borne version that is past from infected to infected. A small group of people have made it out of the city and wish to cross the river just outside of town. Their journey: to make it to St. Teresa's. The last reports had St. Teresa's as a refuge for those that had no money or medical care. It was meant to be the place for hope to survive... This is the first episode where we meet our 7 troubled team members. One is left behind, 6 run for their lives.

The Last Stand
An airborne flu known as the Campion Virus, had spread like wildfire through the populous. When it mutates, it leaves millions dead. The second mutation brings about an even more terrifying threat. The infected are now raging like rabid animals. Seven people are trying to make it out of the city and across the river to a place they had heard about before the media went quiet. They are running from zombies, the left overs of the military trying to fire bomb the infected, and themselves. Limited supplies and itchy trigger fingers have caused this group to come to their last chances of survival.
